West Ham confident of signing former Man United striker Chicharito

Hammers to sign forward
West Ham United are confident that they can complete the signing of Javier Hernandez, the Mirror report.
The Bayer Leverkusen hitman has a £13 million release clause, making him one of the potential bargains of the summer. Chicharito has scored 39 goals in 76 games for the Bundesliga club, including six in European competition.
Premier League pedigree
Chicharito also has pedigree when it comes to the Premier League because of his time at Manchester United.
The Mexican forward scored 37 goals across four full Premier League seasons. This is especially impressive as he was often used off the bench. Since being sold to Leverkusen, Chicharito has proved his worth.
Current United boss Jose Mourinho has bemoaned that his predecessor Louis van Gaal sold the forward.
Chelsea could hijack a move for Chicharito as they’re also in the market for a striker.
